Current Activities:

• Job readiness training (job interviewing, CV writing, career development, career planning, employment counseling).
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office 2007 workshops- Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook Express)
• Basic internet skills (internet browsing, opening and using an e-mail account, communicating in digital format, etc.). 
• Academic development (choosing the right school, diploma evaluation, scholarship application procedures, academic writing, etc.).

Upcoming Activities:

• English Literacy Programs (i.e., providing English as a Second Language (ESL) classes at various levels for immigrant populations with limited English proficiency).
• Courses in preparation for U.S. Naturalization Exam.
• Voter registration and voting procedures review.
• Business Basics Workshop (e.g., starting a small business, checking the feasibility of a business idea, the basics of writing a business plan, different forms of business ownership, registering your business, and other business start-up procedures and resources).  
• Small Business Workshops (business issues such as marketing, financing, legal structures, insurance, leasing space, sales, taxes, and record keeping).
